I can see that beingness increased a chip in a later patch. Heck, with the ML being upped to 12, that's only 6 difference. Wacky.

when did this "patch" happen? I'k showing no tape of ane. Looked in my data/weapons file and it is still modded to 24 heat

How to switch to the public_beta branch (GOG):

  • Within the GOG Galaxy App, Navigate to your library.
  • When you hover over the BattleTech library entry, find the minor carte expansion arrow in the lesser right corner of the BattleTech App - select "Settings"

I wasn't actually expecting information technology to be that depression, merely might be justified given that yous're getting less damage than 2 med lasers, for 5x the weight of a single 1. Excited to become back from piece of work and endeavor this stuff out

Yup, i'm curious the effect this volition have on multiplayer, mid range boating just got a lot more than complex.

I'm very happy to see this, LLs accept long been one of my favourite weapons in the MechWarrior series. And so now they put out petty enough rut to be viable equally a mainstay weapon, and with the stability changes, doing zero stability damage is less of an impediment (ie. confronting assault mechs you aren't going to knock downward unless y'all're specifically building to, meaning stability impairment is all or nothing anyway).

Now if they'll only evidence PPCs the same love (35 is still way besides much estrus), along with peradventure AC/2s and gauss rifles, all will be well in the universe.

Yup, the stability changes are really going to exist interesting to meet play out also. Assualts should be far more than tanky in that respect now, and it's another thing that will have huge implications in PvP ( no more stab dmg cheese builds yay !!! hopefully lol ).

I must admit I am going to look for the release version of the patch. But the changes and new settings could solve some of the problems with the game. my main use for LRMs was turrets and tanks. as well many people driveling the LRM knockdown.

You can play the beta in PvP for what it'southward worth, dev'south have asked players to put a [beta] prefix in their session names.

Looks like "Deathstar" Stalkers are now viable...

LL counterbalance 5 tons, estrus neutral they volition exist 11tons full.
ML are 1 ton, heat neutral 5tons total.
3x ML++ (3x35 impairment) = 105 impairment for 36 rut, 15tons oestrus neutral
2x LL+++ (2x50 ddamage) = 100 damage for 36 oestrus, 22tons heat neutral
LL do 2/iii damage for weight as ML in 1.1, but get longer range (and the +++ get accuracy in add-on to damage)
At to the lowest degree they are an choice now instead of being lolbad.

Called shot SRM nerf is :(
The oestrus vitrify on SRMs makes up for the rut nerf on ML though.

Played effectually with outfitting and did few contracts...
The funniest loadout i've tried so far is atlasII with 6*LL+2*AC5. That'south 400 blastoff from outside of ML/SRM/AC20 range and without the bug SRM-s now have with called shots. And with a agglomeration of DHS and 20% estrus exchanger it does not even melt itself...
It is at present more effective at coring things than typical ML/SRM brawlers with around 500 alpha, because a lot of those damage comes from SRM-south, which do non hitting called shot target reliably anymore.
It is as well more often than not harder to 1 hit impale things, because of SRM nerf, emmet it is a adept thing IMO, fights are a chip more fun now.

Outside of altlasII with a agglomeration of lostech though... LL-south are withal actually heavy and however generate considerable amount of heat. They are more viable now, but far from being "best"/"also skilful".
